Vacuum applications for edible oil - expertise from Hanover
Vacuums play a key role in many edible oil production processes. Edible oil manufacturers worldwide have been choosing solutions from Hanover for decades. The options range from traditional vacuum systems, systems with closed water cycles (ACL), or Körting ICE Condensation Vacuum Systems. Körting Hannover AG will be at three major edible oil trade shows in September and October.
With oil+fats in Munich and the 13th Euro Fed Lipid Congress in Florence, the industry will be meeting at two important events in Europe. Körting Hannover AG will be taking part in both. PIPOC, the biggest edible oil trade show in South-East Asia, will take place at the beginning of October. With a 30 % market share, palm oil is the world's most important vegetable oil. Malaysia supplies over 40 % of global palm oil annually. The demand for reliable and energy-efficient vacuum technology from Hanover is vast, particularly in Malaysia and Indonesia.
oils+fats in Munich
From 15 to 17 September 2015, the MOC events centre, belonging to Messe Munich, will be the venue for the only trade show for vegetable and animal oils and fats in Europe. Körting Hannover AG will be presenting its products in hall 3, stand no. 305 there. The goal of oils+fats is to bring together decision-makers and project managers in the oils and fats industry. Vacuum-technology experts will be on hand to answer questions for the market leader from Hanover. They won’t just be discussing current projects, but future plans too. A presentation on the fundamentals of vacuum systems and troubleshooting will round off Körting Hannover AG’s showcase.
13th Euro Fed Lipid Congress in Florence
Euro Fed Lipid is an association of 13 scientific institutes that deal with the science and technology of fats, oils and lipids. The association’s 13th congress, the motto of which is New Challenges in Technology, Quality Control and Health, will take place from 27 to 30 October 2015 in Florence, Italy. During the congress, experts from all over the world will discuss developments, innovations and current challenges. Körting’s edible-oil experts will also hold a presentation at the congress. Today, an issue such as the basics of designing eco-friendly vacuum systems is more relevant than it’s ever been. Körting vacuum systems for the edible-oil industry are particularly good at responding to the demand for eco-friendly processes. The congress is another opportunity to present the benefits of the Körting systems to a broader range of industry professionals.
PIPOC 2015 - International Palm Oil Congress, Kuala Lumpur
Together with its neighbouring country Indonesia, Malaysia covers 85 % of global palm oil demand. The edible oil industry is a major pillar of the Malaysian economy. Körting will be a key exhibitor at PIPOC from 6 to 8 October 2015 in hall 2, stand no. 5 + 6. The majority of the edible-oil-processing systems operated in the country use vacuum technology from Hanover. Over the past few years, Körting ICE Condensation Vacuum Systems have in particular attracted enormous attention because they are eco-friendly and energy-efficient. The technology enhances the sustainability of palm oil production.
Liquid jet mixing nozzles and tank mixing systems for the big oil tanks are also becoming increasingly popular. As these mixing systems have no moveable parts they require no maintenance. And not just for that reason alone, they're economical to operate. Because even large tanks can be fully mixed without any dead zones. All these factors add up to state-of-the-art technology that makes the Körting stand at PIPOC a worthwhile place to head for.
